According to our survey of 2,000 shoppers—mass media and popular online magazines, 62% are favored more than retail marketplaces when looking for shopping inspiration at the start of the customer journey. 37% of respondents report starting with popular magazines/mass media vs. 24% Search Engines and 21% Retail Marketplaces. Yet, 44% reported the leading destinations for purchase are marketplaces like Amazon.
